Construction
Welcome to Construction!
For the practical-minded and active person who doesn’t sit still too long, Construction provides an outlet to be physical and productive.
This course, delivered onsite at Newman Senior Technical College, aims to provide students with the foundation knowledge and elementary skills necessary to carry out general construction tasks and processes, in a safe and efficient manner.
Construction workers erect, install, finish and repair wooden and metal structures and fixtures on residential and commercial buildings. They may also work on large concrete, steel and timber structures such as bridges, dams, power stations and civil engineering projects.
